Frome Symphony welcomes new members, particularly those who play stringed instruments. If you've never played in an orchestra, or are returning to playing after a break, then Frome Symphony has a place for you. Membership of Frome Symphony gives you the chance to discover new music and revisit popular classics, and take part in concerts, workshops and social events. There are no auditions, and admission is by an informal procedure. Simply come along and see if Frome Symphony is right for you. Contact

If there is a vacancy for a player of your instrument, you will be
more than welcome to come along to a rehearsal and have a trial run
for a couple of weeks with no pressure or obligation. If after this
trial period you (with consultation with the music director) decide
that Frome Symphony is for you, then on payment of a subscription
you can join for the term and take music home with you.
